So from making our cherry coulis and giving the hens the leftover stones, to adding it as a delicious ripple with some dark chocolate shavings-you could be gobbling down this scrumptious treat at @burghleyhouse this bank holiday weekend! Considering how many trees we've planted, a Jay is always going to have us beat! On a Goat walk I spotted these beautiful baby Oaks just days after hay cut peeking through, might have to move them to give them the best chance of becoming a giant.
Jays are the largest regenerative forest planters of Oaks by forgetting where they've left their acorns! A single Jay can hide 5,000 acorns a year, in 11 years we've planted 2,500 (maybe a few more!) a good number but not on a Jays scale!
