Deliveries and Returns

Delivery Information

We like to work on the assumption that once you’ve hit that PLACE ORDER button you want your order as soon as possible.  You want to know where it is and when you’re going to get it.

We despatch orders every single working day (Monday to Friday).  Place your order before 12.00 then it’s 99.9% certain that it will leave our farm that day.  Bad weather or lorry breakdowns are the only things that stop us.  We do not despatch at the weekend.

We offer a Royal Mail service for the whole of the UK for parcels.  This is a second class service for orders that are not urgent as delivery can be 3-4 days. On orders over £15 this is a free servive.

Alternatively you can upgrade to first class serve that will aim to deliver your package in 1-2 working days.

Courier deliveries are sent by DPD who will email you and text you (if you give us your mobile number on checkout) with your delivery details.  DPD now have a mobile app where you can get even more information about your delivery.

Can I return something?

The simple answer is yes and we do have a 30-day returns policy if you do wish to send an unused/unopened item back.  We do not accept returns of Ice cream, this has different terms listed on the product page.

All we ask is that you contact us first so we know that your goods are coming back to us and the reason.

Returning goods within 14 days

By law, all customers in the EU have a 14 working day cooling off period in which they can withdraw from the contract. The 14 days start from the day after the goods were delivered. To cancel the whole order within this time, please notify us in writing at with  the cancellation details including the order number and then return the goods to us.

Where there has been no error on our part with the original order, as soon as we have received the returned goods, we will issue you with a refund for the cost of the goods and the cost of the outgoing delivery charge that you paid. We do not refund the cost of returning the goods to us. We may be able to arrange the courier to collect an item if it is heavy but the cost of this will be deducted from the overall refund.

If you have paid for 1st class service, we will only refund the cost of standard delivery.

If you cancel only part of your order, we will not refund any outgoing delivery costs.

Returning goods after 14 days

After the 14-day period you are still able to return goods to us up to 30 days after delivery. Where there has been no error on our part, we will only refund the cost of the goods. We will not refund any delivery/return costs in connection with the purchase.

In all cases, all goods must be in unused condition with packaging intact.

A faulty item?

If you consider the item to be faulty,  please contact us so that we can arrange either a replacement or a refund. Please include as much information, and photographs if possible to help us.
